About FlexLeg

FlexLeg is a medical device company based in Provo, Utah. Our goal is to create the most advanced and safest crutch alternative on the market. We design, manufacture, and distribute what we feel is the best option for those with a medical condition that prevents bearing weight on a lower limb. Our product provides a superior experience that promotes full mobility independence, allowing a user to continue to work, play, and live an active life.

FlexLeg replaces the need for crutches and other crutch alternatives while offering a superior solution for mobility. The device has been developed and designed using feedback and analysis from medical professionals, engineering experts, and users with lower leg injuries. FlexLeg has undergone extensive testing to ensure a safe, comfortable, and functional design.

FlexLeg does not require the use of hands or arms during use. To be clear, the device is not a prosthetic, although we have utilized advances in athletic prosthetic technology in the development of a “foot” to create a device that permits a user to walk stably while carrying objects. As a completely hands-free mobility device, FlexLeg allows free movement of the upper body, permitting one to continue to engage in important everyday tasks at home, work or school, and during recreational activities.

The FlexLeg frame is constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum for maximum reliability and light weight. The specially designed foot is made from premium composites, giving a natural shock absorption and spring to each step. The bottom of each foot is custom fit with Vibram® tread for superior grip and cushioning. Straps, padding, and other hardware are manufactured from high quality materials for a comfortable and reliable product that ensures safety and durability. The device is fully designed and manufactured in the USA.
